| Group classes provide you an opportunity to train your dog in a realistic environment. I encourage dog owners to practice their training in different environments so the dog learns to listen no matter where you are! Socialization is also an essential part of your dogs training, in group classes your dog will learn how to properly interact with different people and other dogs. Join us and participate in a class that you and your dog will enjoy and succeed in!
Puppy Kindergarten Start your puppy’s training off right! This 6 week class is the start to your puppy’s socialization and training. Your instruction includes housebreaking, problem solving, body handling and the start to your beginning obedience exercises. This class is open to dogs 10 weeks to 5 months. Classes are approximately 45 minutes in length. Proof of vaccinations needed.
Beginner Dog Obedience This 8 week class gets down to business with the basics. You will learn sit, down, stay, come and walking on a leash without getting dragged around! This class is for dogs 5 months and older. The first class is a discussion on housebreaking, biting, barking, jumping etc…PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THE FIRST CLASS. Proof of vaccinations needed.
Advanced Obedience This advanced obedience class takes your basic command skills and we add to them. We add hand signals, more distractions and advance your dogs basic on leash training so that all commands can be preformed off-leash work. The class runs 6 weeks and is limited in size. Proof of vaccinations needed.
Canine Good Citizen Class This 6 week class prepares your dog for the AKC certified Canine Good Citizen test. All 10 characteristics of the test are covered. Completion of a basic obedience class is recommended prior to registering for this class. For more information on the Canine Good Citizen test, please click here.
